I would be cross if the title of something in which I was famous was "Free Ride." I do not know if you feel the same.

Not at all. I have been known as "Givesitupforatuppendybagoflemonsherberts" since 1986.

I love the way you only tell me not to sit down AFTER you know I'll have sat down already. Thanks. Thanks a BUNCH.

Good on you!

Katy - get back to your soup.

Camera Obscura - yes. Yes. Although I am worried about being described as 'Quebec-based' rather than English, but then what can you do?

quebec-based sounds important. you have a base. you're english, but you're based in quebec. like some kind of a monkey corporation.

THey obviously didn't read down to your final comment.

Either that or - far more likely - you are so innately famous that any comment from you is an endorsement!

I had a similarly frustrating experience in Boston, trying to explain Richard Stilgoe to some Americans...can't exactly remember why...
