Day 318: I Regret Not Taking Up An Offer

I have a strange taste in my mouth. It is the taste of regret: regret that I do not own a tiny cat. The only thing that could purge the taste from my mouth is a Listerine tab.

But what is this?! The taste of regret is intensifying as I remember this offer (an offer I did not take up at the time), seen in a pharmacy in French Canadia: a tiny, living (but sleeping) cat, free with every purchase of Listerine tabs!

You may think this offer strange. I do not, for before entering said pharmacy, I had a foretaste of the variety of delights contained therein:

Nice mossy enbonpoint, I'm sure you'll agree. And best of all, she has some other verdant friends to admire it!

I find myself moved once again to say: Hoorah for French Canadia!

Those are not cats, for heaven's sake. They are guinea pigs!

They can't be cats, not live ones at any rate - they would climb out of their basket and cause havoc. As would guinea pigs.

I think you are telling porkies, and quite possibly guinea ones, at that.
