I am not sure what will happen yet, but it will definitely be good. Not only will it be good, but the content of this web-blog - originally conceived (in the manner of IVF octuplets) to to keep me busy when I wasn't working in 2005 - will once again rise from the ashes, snapping hard on the heels of for e.g. the German site dedicated to knitted 'fetisch' items and this one, dedicated to hipster puppies.
In essence, therefore, I feel a little like this:

And also a bit like this:

It is a good feeling! (Also, watch this space!)

Well done! Good to hear that you are returning to your natural state able to devote yourself full time to honing web posts to perfection.
Hurrah! I will hereby withdraw the complaint I had filed against you with the trades descriptions police, now that you are really, actually, literally non-working once more.
Well, thank heavens. I had a lot more fun when you were literally non working. Good times. *sigh*
The news is most excellent. Here's hoping for more of Marguerite.
w00t! And also, crivens! So glad to see you returned to your natural habitat. This can only boast well for your stalkers... I mean, blogfans...
Hmmm... WV is dogondom. Sounds vaguely pervy in a doggie sort of way.
Now you will have a little more time on your paws, please could you go back to the old layout? It was easier to read. Now I have to move bits of me to read across the page and I don't like it! Is it just me being old? Don't answer that.
Now we can frolic and play in the city of Montreal! I just need to become non-working, too. Look for me on St. Dominique and Mont Royal.
Hello fans (and MonkeyMother)
Here is what I am up for:
- cups of coffee with strangers
- my mother (i.e. MonkeyMother) adjusting her computer window size with her wise monkey hands
- doing a lot of very stupid things
- spending over one hour having breakfast, making coffee, etc
- spending over 3 hours buying 1 potato
- taking the bus
- joining a library
- eating a lot of pulses
What are you up for?
NWM
I am also up for you, my adoring fans and/or readers, continuing in this excellently supportive vein. It is very encouraging, and I thank you for it.
That's all very well for you, with time on your monkey hands, but it takes valuable nano-seconds to adjust my screen.
All-purpose support:
"Long live the Great Helmsmonkey! Hail to absinthe, fezzes and non-working! Diligently study self-haircutting and pancakes! Fight Stingite cockmonkey revisionism!"
Excellent news. I work as little as possible and it brings me much joy. My best friend is now mostly non-working and looks happier than I've ever seen her. Well done you.
Literally non-working...brilliant! I await with great anticipation a return to posts about well-hung statuary, squirrel watching, and how Sting is a cunt.
P.S. I got your post. I'll try to stalk more.
Hoorah for me! (And for you, for without you - yes, I am nothing! Well, I am something, but I am unseen - so do I exist?)
Ahhh, back to the halcyon days of NWM prowling the streets, pipe in hand, absinthe in hipflask, quirky observations brewing in her monkey head.
I look forward to your return to your natural habitat, but is this a permanent state of affairs, we ask ourselves? Or will she be sucked once again into the corporate jungle?
We can only watch and wait...
Excellent news - hurrah.
Hurrah.
As an aside, on a techie "list" to which I am joined, I noticed that one of the new members goes by the name of "absinthe-minded" - and when I read that I thought of you straightaway!
Oh happy happy joy joy ... more NWM can only be a good thing.
Congrats to you on your upcoming nonworkingness! I've seen quite a few travel shows recently featuring Quebec - looks like a great place to be free.
Then again, those shows never quite capture the full feel of a place. Enquiring minds want to know ... is the statuary in Montreal as well endowed as in Londres?
This and so much more to look forward to. Personally I'm up for an anus burger and tea with the woodchuck.
Oh YES! I have been contemplating the very same for the last several weeks but have not had the basic common brass monkeys (scuze) to do it. I have many more things to (knitted? is that a set of knitted? things? you know, those... things are...) say about this, all of enormous (maybe crocheted but it does look knitted in my totally-uninformed opinion) value and probably massively intelligent and entertaining (but why the garter thingy [bustier I suppose but knitted makes it seem more of a doily so I'm not sure what the right term is - bustioly?] requires a modesty leotard under I cannot for the life of me fathom) but for some reason I seem to be a bit (Damn it if the insignificant other sees that mask I'm going to have to learn knitting and I failed casting-on when I was 6) distracted.
This is most excellent news.
I am far behinds the times in reading your news because I have another two weeks to go before I too will be non-working.
