Day 441: I Set A Picture Quiz

The days pass, and still I remain distracted by my new project - an international database of traffic light people.

Sadly, however, I am fairly certain that not everyone (as surprising as it may seem!), shares my passion. And so, to cater to the (special) needs of this (very small) group, I have created a picture quiz based on what I have seen since I arrived in French Canadia last Thursday.

Ready? Let's go!

Picture Question 1

(Don't forget - look at the picture carefully before you answer!)

Picture Question 2

When I saw the following poster by the 'highway' in Canada, I opened my mouth. "Who is ....?", I started, before falling into a sudden horrified silence.

My companion (a rather hunky pathologist!) turned to me and helped finish my sentence. "Frigo Maytag?"

"Yes", I muttered, looking out of the window.

Picture Question 3

When (if!) everyone's fed up with traffic light people I have another picture blog to suggest...'The most Ugly Water Towers (Chateaux D'Eaux) in France'. There are at leat 2356 of them (well they all are), it's just that I can't cover the territory to get photos of each. All contibutions/suggestions welcome. In the meantime keep traffic light people coming. And I just want to add something, Non-working Monkey got her first taste of traffic light people when living in Paris in the late 70s/early 80's; Paris has the best traffic light people in the world with the trailing back hand (call me a liar if I'm wrong), so get a picture up there sap!

Much laugh-out-loudery going on here at the pix. I particularly like the bap of soap and its "take it away" option. But I am one of the doesn't-really-understand-the-story-or-the-question people vis-a-vis Frigo Maytag, so will we get an explanation at some point?

I am not sure, but I think that Picture No. 3 is a turd on a brown paper bag.

Do I get a prize?

Kermit - what, in Montreal?

Katy: no it is not!

Clare - Maytag = brand. Frigo = French (ish) for 'refrigerator'. I thought Frigo Maytag was the person in the poster. Fact.

Papa - get your camera out.
