If I could do anything at all, I would write cookbooks. But I cannot, because all my recipes are other peoples' recipes, and that would be stealing. Anyway, here are some things that I thought were worth sharing with you, my adoring readers and/or fans, because they are particularly delicious and worth the effort of making.
If you only make one of these, make the Lemon and Lavender biscuits.
Preposterously simple nut ice-cream
Pain de Campagne
Delicious Granola bars, North Staffordshire Oatcakes and Lemon and Lavender biscuits
American Pancakes (includes fabulous reader recipes in the comments for all sorts of different pancakes too, including blinis and something with A LOT of booze in it)
Salty-Sweet Chocolate Chip and Almond cookies (warning: makes about 40 that you will eat all of in one go)
Courgette Muffins
Really great things that I cook the whole time, that I didn't publish in posts but that you will probably like a lot:
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingsall's Yoghurt and Vanilla Panna Cotta
Yotam Ottolenghi's Green pancakes with chili butter
Yotam Ottolenghi's chicken with chili and basil
Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a day - this is amazing and I highly recommend it; you can stir nuts and dried fruit and all sorts of stuff into it
A very fine summer cake. In it are gooseberries and almonds.
See that list? I will probably update it now and then. Yes.
